Our flagship cycling fundraising challenge Earth Wind & Tyre is back for 2022!

The physical event takes place on 11 June in Durham, or you can take part virtually wherever you are in the world throughout June. Money raised helps us deliver renewable energy projects in Kenya and Nepal. This work transforms livelihoods and the health of people living in extreme poverty. And builds safer, resilient communities adapted to climate change.

The 108-mile route of the physical event was designed to pass a number of onshore wind farms, to celebrate renewable energy and the possibilities it holds to change our world.

A 2019 participant said: “Earth Wind & Tyre is up there with the best fundraising challenges you will ever find. It will push your body to the absolute limit, and you will feel physically and mentally stronger for it. An outstanding event by an amazing organisation doing essential work to tackle poverty while keeping the environment in mind. Will definitely be back!”

Registration is now open. If you’d like to join the physical event in Durham, make sure you sign up by 31 January to take advantage of the early bird price of £50 (£65 thereafter). Registration for the virtual event is free.

You can sign up as an individual or as a team (including corporate teams) and if you join the physical event, you can choose to cycle the whole route or do it as a relay with a team.
