Sanjib Kumar Lal

Sanjib joined RW in 2022. He has over 11 years of experience in the Renewable Energy Sector. He brings expertise in planning, technical design, implementation, and monitoring of community-based renewable energy projects including procurement and contract management. In his past work, he served as an expert in the development of strategy, policy, and implementing guidelines for the promotion of Renewable Energy at the Federal, Provincial and Local levels in Nepal. He worked with UNDP for six years and with AEPC for seven years on projects funded by ADB, World Bank, DANIDA, and NORAD. Immediately before joining RW, he was employed as a Renewable Energy Expert with Prakirti Consult. He has a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from The Institute of Engineering, Nepal, and a master’s degree in Hydro and Renewable Energy from IIT Roorkee, India.  He loves traveling, as well as watching and playing cricket in his spare time.
