Wendy Gichobi

Wendy has a strong academic foundation in Renewable Energy and Environmental Physics attained in Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. She has built her career at the intersection of sustainable energy access and community empowerment, with a focus on underserved and off-grid regions. Her work includes promoting access to community education, facilitating grassroots mobilization, and contributing to the research and innovation techniques during her tenure with the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC). Outside her professional work, she serves as a national-level basketball referee with aspirations for international certification under FIBA.
