Thanks to Big Give, from 2nd to 9th December, every donation made to Renewable World will be doubled — at no extra cost to you. Amazing, right? That means twice the impact for the communities we support and a powerful opportunity to make a lasting difference.

Thanks to the generosity of our pledge donor and Big Give Champion, we have £20,000 pledged to our Big Give Campaign, which we will have just one week to match. Together, we can make every pound go even further and transform more lives through clean, sustainable energy.

All donations raised will go towards funding our vital project: Energy for Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (E4WASH).

In Nepal, 3.5 million people lack access to safe water, with rural communities bearing the greatest burden. In Sindhupalchok, inadequate water infrastructure and sanitation threaten both health and livelihoods. Gender inequalities are deeply rooted — as men migrate for work, women and girls are left managing households and agriculture, facing excessive physical strain, time pressures, and risks to their safety. Limited access to menstrual hygiene further affects girls’ education and undermines their rights.

Through our E4WASH projects, we have already transformed the lives of more than 31,000 people living in remote hilltop areas. Using solar energy, our Solar Multiple-Use Water Systems can lift up to 40,000 litres of safe water per day to three of Sindhupalchok’s communities. We work hand-in-hand with communities, schools, and local authorities to promote healthy hygiene practices, reduce waterborne illnesses, support menstrual health, empower women in leadership roles, and enable farmers to use water more efficiently for food production.
