Mr. Ojha is a committed development professional with more than 18 years of experience in the fields of forestry, climate change/DRR, environment, livelihoods, governance and community development. He has a bachelor’s degree in forestry from Kumaon University Nainital, India, and a master’s degree in Natural Resource Management with a focus on climate change from Pokhara University, Nepal. He worked with or in projects funded by numerous development partners including the UNDP, the USAID, the World Bank in Nepal. He has good working relationships with a wide range of conservation and development stakeholders, including government line agencies at the national and subnational levels. He applies proven methods, research, and learning for addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges. He is passionate about working to create an enabling environment for empowering the rural communities. He has travelled to countries in Asia, Africa and Europe. In his free time he likes to read newspapers, watch movies, travel and play cricket and badminton.
