Al Richardson

Al Richardson joined Renewable World as Global Programmes Director in October 2023, with over 25 years’ experience of programming in International Development. She brings practical experience of both managing projects and overseeing country and global programmes and has lived in or worked with organisations across Africa, Asia, Pacific, Latin America, and Europe. She has a passion for both environmental sustainability as well as community empowerment and has worked with organisations including Practical Action, Toybox, WWF, and World Vision. Outside of work Al likes to work on her allotment, Explore the countryside with her dog, and participate in a local book club. She is also the Co-Chair of the Governors at school in her community.
