Eamon Cassidy

Eamon Cassidy joined Renewable World as CEO in August 2023. Eamon is an economist with over 30 years of experience in international development, including 16 years living and working in Africa and the Caribbean. He has worked in the private, public and third sectors, including over 20 years with the former Department for International Development (now FCDO) as a technical adviser in London, Malawi and Zimbabwe and as Country Director in Mozambique and Nigeria. Eamon subsequently served as Director of Programme Partnerships at Save the Children UK and as Managing Director and Head of Trade at Nathan Associates, an economic consulting company. Immediately prior to joining Renewable World, Eamon was Interim CEO at CARE International UK. Outside of work, Eamon is an active runner, an avid reader of political and economic history, and serves as a Magistrate in Brighton.
