Suman Acharya

Suman joined Renewable World in April 2022. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Himalaya College of Engineering, Tribhuvan University. He has more than five years of experience in the development sector working in WASH, housing, livelihood and DRR. He worked as a Wash Officer in an earthquake recovery WASH Project and as a Project Engineer overseeing the delivery of infrastructure following the 2015 Nepal earthquake, His roles have varied from technical survey design and estimate to implementation, reporting, and coordination with stakeholders from the community to local government. His interest in renewable energy to enhance the livelihood of rural communites and institutions is what drove him to join Renewable World. Suman also loves listening to music, watching cricket and football, and enjoys traveling.
